This product enables the control of an Aqua-Scope motor via potential-free contacts, even when a direct wired connection to the controller is not possible. A stable LoRa point-to-point connection “extends” the control signal to any location in the building right up to the actual control unit.
An input signal directly controls the motor, while an output signal reports the current status of the motor back.
The control module is powered either by a 4…30 V DC supply or via a USB-C power supply. The output signal can switch up to 800 mA as an open-collector output.
Via USB-C, a serial interface is additionally emulated. This allows the device to be configured and controlled using AT commands.
If the device is purchased together with a motor (KFRDRY02 or BVSDRY02), the motor and controller are already paired via radio. After switching on, the system is immediately ready for operation.
Otherwise, the controller must first be paired with the motor. This is described in the section “Pairing”.

The device also features a three-color LED and a push button. A short press also changes the switching state of the motor. This function can be disabled via the one-button menu or via AT command.
If the device is not already part of a motor delivery, it must first be paired with a motor. This can be done via the serial interface by storing the device ID and communication key.
For the KFR motor there is a simpler method using button presses:
In the factory state, the device operates as a radio remote control for Aqua-Scope valve actuators. Via the one-button menu or the serial interface, the device can be switched to motor emulation mode.
In this mode, the device behaves like a motor. The output then provides a control signal for a connected actuator or solenoid valve.
The local button opens or closes the motor. The LED indicates the current state.
The USB-C interface emulates a serial console. When the device is connected via a USB-C data cable (note: many power-only cables do not transmit data) to a PC or mobile phone, it not only provides power through the cable but also allows control.
Using the serial interface requires basic knowledge of serial terminal programs (minicom, PuTTY, etc.), AT command sets, and interface hardware such as a serial/UART converter.

The push button and the red/green LED on the device enable a menu that can toggle various modes on and off. If the button is pressed for 4 seconds, the one-button menu starts. The green LED flashes rapidly, indicating that the menu is active. The red LED flashes once, indicating that command #1 is selected. A short press cycles through the commands (i.e., each press selects command #2, #3, etc.). A long press executes the selected command (confirmed by two yellow flashes) and exits the menu. If no command is executed, the menu exits automatically after about 10 seconds. The following commands are available:
